What a Wedding Photography Package in Macomb and Grosse Pointe Actually Includes

A package is how much of your day is covered, and how the quote is shaped around your rooms and your timeline.

What a Wedding Photography Package in Macomb and Grosse Pointe Actually Includes — Atelier Lens LLC

Most couples are not shopping for camera talk. They want to know what a package pays for on their Saturday.

If you are looking at wedding photography in Macomb County or Grosse Pointe Farms, this is the plain version. Starting ranges live on Experience & Investment. Below is how to read them without the jargon.

Start with how much of the day you need

Wedding packages here are built around hours of coverage.

On the live investment page, full wedding packages start at:

  • Wedding Essentials — from $2,495 · 4 hours · about 160–200 hand-edited images
  • Wedding Signature — from $3,450 · 6 hours · about 240–320 hand-edited images
  • Wedding Premier — from $4,650 · 8 hours · about 320–420 hand-edited images

An extra hour starts at $450. An engagement session starts at $450. Those are starting points. Every wedding gets its own quote.

Four hours is not a lesser standard. It is a shorter day. Eight hours is not more "premium language." It is more of your day covered. Every image is still hand-edited. No batch. The look is decided before the day, and we hold it.

What those hours usually look like in real life

Four hours often works for a ceremony, portraits, and part of a reception — or a smaller gathering where everything happens in one place. You will choose what matters most. Something else will get less time.

Six hours is the shape many full days need: getting ready or a first look, the ceremony, family and couple portraits, and the reception with room to breathe. This package includes help with the timeline, and a sneak peek within 48 hours.

Eight hours fits a long day from getting ready through the last dance — a house in Grosse Pointe Farms and a separate reception, or a Macomb County venue with a slow afternoon. Premier also goes first in the edit queue.

A New Baltimore waterfront and a Chesterfield hall are not the same day. The hours are the starting point. Your rooms decide the rest.

How we build a quote

We keep it simple.

First, the date. We keep the wedding calendar deliberately light — two wedding commissions a month — so your day is prepared properly and the gallery is not rushed. If that Saturday is open, a 50 percent non-refundable retainer holds it. If it is not, we tell you the next one that is.

Second, what has to be covered. Ceremony, portraits, reception, family lists, and any travel between places. Macomb and the Grosse Pointes are often short drives. A day along the St. Clair River can ask for more.

Third, how many hours that timeline truly needs. We match the hours to the day you are actually having — not to a pretty number on a page.

Fourth, whether this is even a full wedding package. A short courthouse or waterfront ceremony with a handful of people is usually an elopement or vow renewal — priced separately on Experience & Investment. Different kind of day. Different section of the page.

What every wedding package includes

Across Essentials, Signature, and Premier:

  • Every image hand-edited
  • A private Pixieset gallery, with print ordering available
  • Full personal print and usage rights
  • Gallery delivery in about three to four weeks (Premier is first in line)

Prints are optional after the gallery is live. What you are commissioning is the day and the pictures that can hang. The download is how you receive them.

What a package is not

It is not a promise that every guest gets a formal portrait. It is not a second photographer unless we quote that separately. It is not a drone. It is not a limited-time special.

It is also not the same as an elopement or vow renewal. Those exist for shorter, quieter days. If your celebration is two hours on the water with a small group, say that early. We will point you to the right starting range.

Close to home

We are based in New Baltimore. We come to you through Anchor Bay and Macomb first — including Grosse Pointe Farms — then the St. Clair River and Blue Water corridor, the Southern Thumb, and Northern Oakland and Lapeer. Farther by arrangement.

Smaller days fit this studio well. Larger days are welcome when the hours and the rooms make sense. The quote still starts from your timeline.

A simple way to compare any studio's package

Before you compare prices, ask:

  • How many hours of coverage.
  • What those hours are meant to cover on your day.
  • How many finished images, and whether each one is edited by hand.
  • What holds the date (here: a 50 percent non-refundable retainer).
  • What sits on a different menu (elopement, vow renewal, engagement, extra hour).

If two quotes look different, it is usually because the days are different — not because one page used better adjectives.
